Packed halls and all events sold out for this edition that centered on the theme of <strong>Power<\/strong> declined in all its forms and possible interpretations.<\/p>\n\n<p>Among the countless writers who flocked from around the world to meet the audience of readers, students, and fans were <strong>Ian Mc Ewan<\/strong>, <strong>Emmanuel Carr\u00e8re<\/strong>,<strong> Javier Cercas<\/strong>,<strong> David Grossman<\/strong>,<strong> Daniel Pennac<\/strong>,<strong> Zarifa Ghafari<\/strong>,<strong> Hakan G\u03cbnday<\/strong>,<strong> Orlando Figes<\/strong>,<strong> Valerij Panju\u0161kin<\/strong>,<strong> Katja Petrowskaja<\/strong>, and<strong> Philippe Sands<\/strong>. Among the Italians <strong> Niccol\u00f2 Ammaniti<\/strong>, <strong> Alessandro Barbero<\/strong>, <strong> Mauro Covacich<\/strong>, <strong> Paolo Giordano<\/strong>, <strong> Antonella Lattanzi<\/strong>, <strong> Loredana Lipperini<\/strong>,  <strong>Francesca Mannocchi<\/strong>, <strong> Dacia Maraini<\/strong>, <strong> Melania Mazzucco<\/strong>, <strong> Daniele Mencarelli<\/strong>,  <strong>Paolo Nori<\/strong>, <strong> Romana Petri<\/strong>,  <strong>Francesco Piccolo<\/strong>, <strong> Rosella Postorino<\/strong>, <strong> Massimo Recalcati<\/strong>, <strong> Domenico Starnone<\/strong>,<strong> Walter Siti<\/strong>,<strong> Chiara Valerio<\/strong>,<strong> Sandro Veronesi<\/strong>,<strong> Zerocalcare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>&#8220;This was a very important edition both because of the theme addressed and because of the historical moment in which it was proposed<\/em>,&#8221; says <strong>Daniele Pitteri<\/strong>, CEO of the Fondazione Musica per Roma <strong>.<\/strong><em><strong> <\/strong>and the large participation of citizens shows how it is increasingly necessary for cultural institutions to stimulate reflection and debate around major current issues while trying to meet the increasingly urgent demand for answers to questions about the present.
